Meet the makers - Grain Brewery and Yum Yums

Our last two introductions for the Christmas Pick 'n' Mix : here 's a clue....not too tricky...
We are delighted to be joined by the fanatics over at Grain Brewery. Phil & Geoff opened Grain Brewery in the Summer of 2006, driven by a love of great beers...We're looking forward to sharing in their obsession. I think we'll need to take home a nice selection to check on their products a bit more... oh yes - lots of testing just to be sure we understand our makers' passion.....And introducing Yum Yum's our favourite sweetie shop in Wymondham. What Anita doesn't know about sweetie history, well, who needs history when she sells all the sweets you grew up with - retro sweetie queen and also selling vintage board games and classic comics Anita will bring a touch of nostalgia to the mix for all of us who remember pocket money being considerably less than 50p!!

That's the market full for this Christmas. We are so excited to meet old friends and new and looking forward to a really great day. Lisa and t.x

Meet the Maker - Steve Handley

Oh this maker is making us happy! It's like a slow smile on a lazy sunday afternoon..
Steve Handley combines craftsmanship, wit and wisdom to make perfect works of art in wood.
His workshop is an earthquake of discarded kitchenalia waiting to be given new life through his work...
From his dressers and tables to the smallest hook and hanger everything has layers of history and asks you to stop, think and smile....
Learn more about Steve on his website and we recommend you download his book of wit and wisdom The 10 Condiments.
Now, do you think that first cupboard would need a CCTV like the one used by the BB here?

Meet the Maker - Emma Mitchell Designs.

We LOvE Emma's work. Each little silver charm is uniquely handmade, often to commission so each one is that extra bit special...and we especially love her use of vintage items of jewellery which she re-makes adding her own special charms and freshwater pearls...
Beautifully inspired colourful works..
So many of us have charm bracelets from Christenings which are loaded with ubiquitous manufactured charms but how much more special to commission a piece where each charm has personal meaning and significance...
We can't wait to see what Emma brings to the Market! You can see Emma's work over on her website or catch up with her at her blog, Silver Pebble. Lisa and t.x

So much to lust over on one stall!
Don't you just love it! Lisa and t.x
